Aussie Championships are back on the Gold Coast this season from 21st March- 29th March 2026 - Sign Up Now!
The Aussies is an annual event where members from Australia’s 316 Surf Clubs come together to compete in more than 550 beach and ocean events.

Eligible nominations are to be completed and submitted via this form before Monday 2nd of February 2026. (Nominations following this date will be considered case by case and subject to varying costs as early bird entry fees expire).
A $50 contribution fee from all competitors is being requested.

2026 Youth and Senior State Championships will be held at Maroochydore SLSC!
After the 2025 Championships were cancelled, we can’t wait to come together again and show them what our club has got.
From iconic surf and beach races to team events and relays, it’s the ultimate celebration of surf sport and lifesaving skill on one of Queensland’s most beautiful beaches.
Youth: 19 - 22 Feb, Maroochydore
Senior: 27 Feb - 1 Mar, Maroochydore

The Surf Sports Sector is looking to raise funds for competitions accommodation and other costs, and would appreciate and assistance from members who have any qualified barista experience, and others to assist them, to make our members happy on Sunday mornings with a fresh cup of loved filled caffiene.

This year the U11–U14 Youth Branch Championships, will be held from Friday 30th January to Sunday 1st February at Alexandra Headland SLSC.
The events include: Surf Race, Board, Cameron Relay, Surf Team, Board Rescue, Ironperson, Beach Relay, Mixed Beach Relay, Beach Sprints, Flags, Beach Runs
Team events are 3 per club per event and ae relay is restricted to max of 2 per club.
*Please be advised that a Senior March Past has been added to the Youth Branch Championships program.

A reminder to parents that volunteers are essential for a smooth carnival, so we’ll need your help on the day at some capacity, whether that is as Water Safety, Age Manager or other. Never done it before? That is okay, there will be people to support you in learning the ropes!
